It doesn't seem like that long ago, my 66 year old mother seemed youthful and vibrant. She enjoyed playing tennis. When she experienced some anxiety (who doesn't) the doctor prescribed a medication. Well right after, she developed acid reflux, so another medication for that. Well that made her heart beat kind of funny, so she got yet another prescription.
Now she just seems mentally lost. A conversation that used to take 20 minutes, now takes an hour.
My dad had to tell me where they are going on vacation, because she couldn't remember.
I want my real mom back!
