About Rik

Rik is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Nutra Pharma Corporation (NASDAQ OTC: NPHC) - a publicly traded Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical company dedicated to researching neurological disorders and viral diseases. He holds both a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Biochemistry from Florida Atlantic University and conducted his PhD research for the Duke University Medical School Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research provided some of the beginning fundamentals for the development of some powerful new drugs, including cone snail venom pharmaceutical applications and Camptothecin analogs for breast and ovarian cancer. Rik has several papers and posters on rational drug design using computer simulations. He teaches several courses for Florida Atlantic University's Continuing Education Department and College of Business. Rik also teaches physician CME courses internationally, lecturing on lifestyle choices in the prevention and treatment of chronic disease states.
