Do You Absorb Your Vitamins? Print E-mail
Being a Natural Health Professional, I'm amazed at the number of people who have come to me with the same story:

I've been taking a boatload of vitamins and supplements, but I don't feel any better.

This story may be a little gross, but it will get the point across. I had a friend who used to clean septic tanks for a living. One day I was talking with him about vitamins. Come to find out he had worked on several septic systems that were clogged with... you guessed, vitamin pills. Some of them you could still read the little lettering on the pill.

The vitamin pills had passed thru peoples digestive systems untouched.

I've been preaching for years, it's not what you consume, it's what you absorb that counts.

No wonder so many people complain, I tried that supplement, but I didn't notice any difference. Then there's the topic of natural vs. synthetic vitamins, that's a whole nother story.

Bio-availability is the key. Getting the nutrients to the cells in your body, is the only thing that really counts.

I always like to practice what I preach, so here is my personal regime:

  • Take a liquid, natural, whole food based multi-vitamin complex, with proven bio-availability.
  • Take digestive enzymes, so the nutrients in my food are broken down in the digestive tract and properly absorbed.
